What is INTACT for hair shedding and how does INTACT work?

INTACT contains organically-derived synephrine from Bitter Orange, a citrus plant. Synephrine is a potent activator of the Arrector Pili muscles of the hair follicle. Published peer-reviewed scientific studies show that activation of the Arrector Pili, also known as the ‘goosebump’ or ‘goose-pimple’ muscles significantly increases the amount of force required to remove a hair from the follicle.(1)  INTACT can be applied topically to the scalp prior to any activity that might result in tension or manipulation (styling, shampooing, chemical processing, extensions, weaves, wigs, hair system servicing, etc.) for a protective effect against hair fall and reduced symptoms of shedding proven to last for hours.
