Continuing an almost twenty-year benevolent tradition of Bauman Medical, the Bauman Philanthropic Foundation 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is dedicated to providing life-changing pro-bono hair restoration, surgical hair transplants and medical treatments to patients in need. Our goal is to use our resources to help restore the appearance of men, women, and children who have suffered debilitating hair loss through accidents, medical treatments, or other unfortunate causes, so they may regain the confidence they’ve lost in often devastating circumstances. We also support charitable groups, organizations, and events in the areas of education and healthcare in addition to local community initiatives.

VIDEO: Brain Cancer Survivor Tim's CNC 3D-Printed Hair Replacement

Tim Jaep has bravely and triumphantly survived brain cancer that was diagnosed at the age of eight. However, now in his 30's, his hair loss, made worse by his medical condition and treatments, has been severe and devastating. Tim's mom, Paula, was introduced to hair loss expert Dr. Alan Bauman through Martino Cartier's charity "Friends Are By Your Side" which holds it's Annual Night of Wigs and Wishes fundraiser gala. Because Tim was not an appropriate candidate for hair transplantation or traditional medical treatments for hair loss, Dr. Bauman recommended a medical-grade "CNC" Cranial Prosthesis. The CNC from Cesare Ragazzi Laboratories is made with 100% unprocessed human hair and 3D-printing for a perfect fit of the dermatocompatible polymeric base. The Bauman Philanthropic Foundation underwrote the cost of the CNC Cranial Prosthesis for Tim. New medical-grade cranial prosthetic hair replacement systems are customized for each patient and created with 3D-printing technology and old-world Italian craftsmanship. The Bauman Philanthropic Foundation was proud to underwrite the costs of Tim's 'CNC' Cranial Prosthesis and make this life-changing event happen for him.
