Dr. Alan Bauman and Team Participate in #ISHRS2015 Chicago Annual Scientific Meeting

The 2015 ISHRS conference in Chicago certainly did not disappoint. Record breaking attendance brought over 800 doctors, technicians, vendors and others from across the globe–including Dr. Bauman and his team–to debate, discuss, learn and share the latest information on the medical and surgical treatment of hair loss. The program includes lectures, workshops, hands-on, electronic poster presentations, Live Patient Viewing, a robust expo of vendors and the latest equipment and more. Dr. Bauman has personally attended more than 15 ISHRS Annual Scientific Meetings, missing only one meeting since 1999 due to the birth of his oldest son.

Along with Dr. Alan Bauman and other team members, Sr. Surgical Technician, Felipe Reynoso, participated in this year’s ISHRS Annual Scientific Meeting. At the request of the ISHRS Assistant’s Program, Mr. Reynoso was once again invited to give a lecture to the Surgical Assistants on the topic of Hair Transplant Postoperative Care and again assist in the hands-on training portions of the ISHRS conference. Liz Ashe, Director of Education and Bauman Medical Consulting Division, Andres Gonzales, M.B.A, VP of Practice Development for Bauman Medical and Olja Marjanovic, Clinical Trial Coordinator for Bauman Medical, and renowned “Lashologist” and licensed cosmetologist Ellie Malmin from the Bauman Team were also in attendance in Chicago.

EYELASH TRANSPLANT AFTERCARE #ISHRS2015

Dr. Bauman was invited to share his Eyelash Transplant techniques and Post-Operative Care of eyelash transplants with his colleagues. Renowned “Lashologist,” licensed cosmetologist and Eyebrow Expert, Ellie Malmin of Palm Beach, FL, joined Dr. Bauman in discussing and demonstrating the post-operative trimming, tinting, shampooing, perming, etc. of eyelash transplants which are critical for the success of the procedure.

Dr. Bauman, “Lashologist” Ellie Malmin and Eyelash Transplant recipient, Hilary B. participated in the Live Patient Viewing portion of the ISHRS Annual Scientific Meeting. Hilary has undergone eyelash transplantation by Dr. Bauman to restore her eyelashes which were completely obliterated decades ago when when she suffered from Trichotillomania as a young adult.  Ellie performed eyelash perming for Hilary while in Chicago and demonstrated the Bauman-Certified™ Eyelash-Aftercare Kit.
