How Bauman Medical gives back (and how you can help!)

Hello, it’s Dr. Bauman.

Bauman Medical has been a part of the Boca Raton community for more than 25 years.

And from day one, the community welcomed me and my team with open arms.

Today, I’d like to share with you how we’re giving back here in Boca, as well as in the surrounding community.

It starts with the Bauman Philanthropic Foundation, which supports pro bono hair restoration procedures and other initiatives.

I believe it is my duty to contribute to the well-being of others, especially those in our community who are struggling with hair loss.

Through the Bauman Philanthropic Foundation, I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

From scalp to eyebrows to eyelashes and more, the Foundation has impacted so many lives through hair restoration.

Specifically, I recall providing a cranial prosthesis (non-surgical hair restoration) to a young man, Tim, battling cancer.

He has since passed away, but the hair restoration made a huge difference in his life, giving him the confidence to seek employment and find purpose in his final years.

The life-changing impact was seen and felt also by his family and friends.

Through our Foundation, we also performed a hair transplant for Victor, an American man from Miami who sustained severe head injuries and lost his right arm in a brutal car accident in Cuba.

We restored areas of his severely scarred scalp, beard and sideburns.

He went on to become a successful real estate professional in Miami and is one of the most positive people I know.

At Bauman Medical we do more than restore our patients’ hair; we help restore their confidence and well-being, too.

Additionally, my wife Karen and I also support initiatives that empower individuals to overcome adversities.

As well as providing assistance to our local military veterans through Grey Team, acknowledging the sacrifices they have made for our country and the freedoms we enjoy.

Today is actually National Nonprofit Day, a day dedicated to giving back and philanthropy.

By engaging in philanthropy, all of us have an opportunity to embody the true spirit of giving and strive to make a real difference in peoples’ lives.

I hope that my contributions to the Bauman Philanthropic Foundation helps build a brighter future for those in need, fostering resilience, confidence, and better health in the communities I serve and call home.
