CRTgro

Advanced Targeted Follicle Infusion for Pattern Hair Loss

At Bauman Medical in Boca Raton, Florida, we are continually refining regenerative therapies to deliver maximum follicle activation and measurable hair regrowth.

CRTgro™ is based on the CRT Combined Regenerative Technique researched and developed by Dr Pablo Cirino MD PhD of Brazil over nearly a decade. Dr. Bauman was personally trained hands-on by Dr Pablo Cirino himself.

Building on the well-established success of MMP (Microinfusão de Medicamentos na Pele) foundation and Dr. Cirino’s CRT protocol, CRTgro™ is a precision, minimally-invasive, in-office, “lunchbreak” treatment that enhances the delivery of hair growth medications directly to the follicle level using advanced micro-infusion technology.

This well researched and scientifically published technique is designed to improve medication absorption, stimulate natural growth pathways, and support stronger, thicker hair in men and women experiencing pattern hair loss.

CRTgro™ is a minimally invasive treatment that combines:

  • Controlled micro-channel stimulation of the scalp
  • Direct follicular infusion of hair growth medications and regenerative compounds (such as peptides, micronutrients, and cellular signals).
  • Activation of natural regenerative signaling pathways

Using a specialized precision device, microscopic channels are gently created in the scalp at a controlled depth. These micro-channels allow customized medications such as low dose minoxidil and dutasteride to be delivered directly to the dermal papilla (the growth center of the hair follicle) where they can work more effectively than topical application alone.

This method improves uniform delivery while simultaneously stimulating natural growth factors involved in follicle repair and regeneration.

Topical medications and other regenerative therapies must pass through the outer barrier of the skin before reaching the follicle. With CRTgro™, we enhance delivery by bypassing that barrier in a controlled, medical setting.

Clinical studies on similar micro-infusion protocols have demonstrated:

  • Improved follicular penetration of medications
  • Increased anagen (growth phase) stimulation
  • Enhanced vascular support to the follicle
  • Measurable improvements in hair density compared to topical therapy alone

When properly performed under medical supervision, adverse effects are typically mild and temporary, such as redness or sensitivity.

CRTgro™ provides a dual mechanism:

1. Mechanical Stimulation

The controlled micro-channels stimulate the scalp’s natural wound-healing cascade, which triggers the release of growth factors such as VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor), PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), and Wnt signaling proteins involved in follicle activation. This helps reactivate weakened follicles and improve scalp circulation.

2. Targeted Treatment Infusion

At the same time, customized medications and regenerative compounds are infused directly into the treatment areas. These may include:

  • Low-dose minoxidil
  • Dutasteride
  • Select peptides (e.g., GHK-Cu), micronutrients, etc.
  • PRP, exosomes, or other regenerative biologics when appropriate

This targeted delivery enhances follicular exposure while minimizing systemic absorption.

CRT™ may be appropriate for:

  • Men with early to moderate male Pattern Hair Loss / Androgenetic Alopecia (Norwood II–V)
  • Women with early to moderate Androgenetic Alopecia / Female Pattern Hair Loss (Ludwig I–II)
  • Patients plateauing on oral or topical medications
  • Patients preparing for or maintaining hair transplant results
  • Individuals seeking a stronger in-office regenerative boost

A personalized evaluation is required to determine candidacy.

  • In-office procedure lasting approximately 45–60 minutes
  • Scalp cleansing and preparation
  • Local anesthesia with optional on-demand ProNox (Nitrous Oxide) for comfort
  • Controlled micro-infusion across priority thinning areas
  • Mild redness or pinpoint bleeding is normal
  • Return to normal activity the same day
  • Shampooing/styling may resume after several hours.

Most patients describe the sensation during the procedure as quite tolerable and similar to a light vibration from brushing/scratching.

CRTgro™ is typically performed as a series of six monthly sessions, depending on your hair loss stage and goals.

Patients may begin to see measurable improvements in hair density around 3 months, with visible cosmetic improvement between 4–6 months.

For maintenance, booster sessions may be recommended depending on your ongoing hair health strategy.

As with all hair restoration treatments, results vary and depend on follicle viability and adherence to your overall treatment plan.

At Bauman Medical in Boca Raton, CRTgro™ is rarely used in isolation. It is most powerful when integrated into a complete hair restoration strategy that may include:

  • Oral medications
  • Topical compounded prescriptions
  • PRP and or other regenerative biologics
  • Laser therapy
  • Hair Transplantation

Hair restoration is not one-size-fits-all. CRTgro™ allows us to enhance delivery and amplify outcomes within a personalized protocol.

Ready to Learn If CRTgro™ Is Right for You?

If you are experiencing thinning hair and want to explore advanced regenerative options beyond standard topical therapy, CRTgro™ may be an excellent addition to your treatment plan.
