Low Level Laser Therapy

After extensive research and investigation, my staff and I at the Bauman Medical Group are happy to announce that we are currently offering, what I believe, to be truly a breakthrough technology in the treatment of hair loss. For those of you who may not have seen us featured on Marilyn Mitzel’s report on Miami’s WSVN-Eyewitness News-Ch. 7 , or Miami’s WPLG-Ch. 10’s news report (both on May 15th) I am referring to Low Level Laser Therapy—a non-invasive, non-chemical treatment option that could potentially stop hair loss, enhance the medical and surgical hair restoration treatments we provide, without adverse side-effects.

Low Level Laser Therapy (or LLLT) has been used in Europe for decades, as well as the Far East and Australia, and is just now just beginning to gain acceptance in the United States. Bauman Medical Group is proud to be on the forefront of this technology. Although I believe that this type of therapy has many medical benefits, I have incorporated this technology into my medical and surgical hair restoration practice.

Those people or patients who might benefit from this type of treatment include:

• Men or women experiencing hereditary (genetic) male or female pattern hair loss
• Men or women who expect to be affected by male or female pattern hair loss
• Men or women currently using prescription or non-prescription hair loss treatments
• Men or women who have had, or plan to have, surgical hair restoration
• Men or women experiencing medication-associated hair loss (chemotherapy or other)
• Men or women experiencing illness-associated hair loss or scalp conditions
• Women who are experiencing or expect to experience post-partum hair loss

The treatments will be offered in our Boca Raton location, with a typical schedule as follows: 15 minute treatments, 3 times per week for the first five weeks, then maintenance treatments for 15 minutes once or twice a month. Your individual potential for benefit will be reviewed on a patient-by-patient basis during a complimentary pre-treatment consultation. Results can usually be demonstrated in 5 to 10 weeks.
At this time, the Laser Hair Therapy Plan will be offered at $3500 for a 6-month treatment schedule for new patients, with a $1000 introductory discount being offered to existing Bauman Medical Group patients, for a limited time. The plan includes pre-treatment and post-treatment evaluations with our CapilliCARE® Microscopic Hair & Scalp Analysis System so that we may monitor the positive effects of the treatment, as well as specially designed chemical-free hair care products.
